Tegoroczne zadanie konkursowe polegało na stworzeniu scenariusza zajęć edukacyjnych poświęconych kobietom Mazowsza – zarówno tym znanym, jak i mniej znanym, które miały wpływ na kulturę, sztukę, naukę, sport, politykę oraz działalność społeczną regionu. Bohaterkami mogły być kobiety urodzone na Mazowszu lub te, które wybrały ten region jako swoje miejsce życia i pracy.

Małgorzata Paderewska, a teacher at the Maria Konopnicka High School in Legionowo, won second place in the prestigious “Lessons about Mazovia” competition. Organized by the Mazovian provincial government and the Mazovian Teachers’ Professional Development Center, the “Lessons about Mazovia” competition aims to promote regional education among teachers and students. This year’s challenge was to create a lesson plan focusing on women of Mazovia—whether well-known or less famous—who have contributed to culture, art, science, sports, politics, or social activities in the region. The subjects could be women born in Mazovia or those who chose it as their place of residence and work.
